Open Houses

In addition to meeting with local community and neighborhood groups about the project we felt it necessary to host a series of Open Houses designed for Kirkland residents to learn more about the project, ask questions and collaborate with us on ideas to make Kirkland Parkplace a vibrant destination center of which they can be proud.

At each Open House, Douglas Howe, President of Touchstone Corporation will share current site plans and drawings and present the latest updates on the project, including a brief overview of outcomes from recent public meetings.  The remainder of the Open House will be reserved for an open forum question and answer period and an opportunity for residents to share their vision of what Kirkland Parkplace can be.

For specific questions regarding the Open Houses, please email us at: info@envisionkirklandparkplace.com.

Touchstone Open House – May

Monday, May 12, 2008, 6:00 p.m. To 8:00 p.m

Join Touchstone at an open house to talk about public art and open space at the Kirkland Parkplace redevelopment project.

We encourage you to bring images of your favorite art installations and public space areas in Kirkland or cities you’ve visited halfway around the world. We're also interested in how Kirkland's rich history might be integrated into this public realm, so feel free to share archived photos and other elements that might help to tell that story.

Please e-mail all items by Thursday, May 8, to info@envisionkirklandparkplace.com.
